Christantus Uche Sparks Straightforward Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Even though embarking on their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct entry to the last 16, especially after a previous setback against Strasbourg.

This match provided a platform for several Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

After the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring with his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
