The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local celebrations included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
