The visionary game developer, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The celebrated industry figure died after his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
